1924 Gibson Style L-Jr.

This is a stunning vintage Gibson archtop with loads of character. The top is made from Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are cherry. It has a thick V profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with 13 frets to the body. It is in excellent condition for its age with a wonderful, warm patina. All original except for a newly fitted maple bridge. It has been set up here in the workshop and plays beautifully.

This gorgeous mahogany bodied Martin guitar is in excellent condition for its age, with no cracks or major flaws, just the usual scratches and dings one would expect from a guitar that is over half a century old! The head plate, fretboard and bridge are Brazilian rosewood and the guitar is fitted with its original open backed tuning machines. It has recently had a neck set and re-fret, and has been set up with a new bone nut and saddle, so it is ready to go for another 50 years! It plays beautifully, with a warm and clear tone, and comes with a deluxe TKL hard case.
